Corin Lingerie’s Tech Breakthrough
Corin Lingerie spent over a year working with engineers and oncology experts in Poland to create what the company calls, “…the most effective, supportive and perfectly shaped bra for women.”
The company utilized thermal imaging and computer models to map out how poorly constructed and fitted bras affected women’s bodies.
Corin’s research showed that sub-standard bras created unnecessary pressure and increased discomfort. While those results may sound fairly obvious, the way Corin and its research team scientifically approached the problem is worth noting.
As part of the process, women of a variety of shapes, ages and breast sizes were used and thermally scanned to pinpoint areas of the body commonly affected by most bras. The data from thermal imaging and computer models was used to guide Corin in their designs of a new bra.
The results are a new manufacturing process and a new bra scientifically proven to help reduce pressure and increase comfort. Corin has since incorporated the new manufacturing process in all their bras.
